There are two types of abortion available at GYN Choices, including a medical abortion and a surgical abortion. A medical abortion is achieved with the use of medications that have been approved by the FDA for use in ending a pregnancy at home. This “abortion pill” is available and often effective within the first seven weeks of pregnancy. If ineffective, women will want to consider surgical abortion. This abortion is completed at our clinic and is a safe, fast surgical procedure that is performed by our experienced medical staff. The team at GYN Choices does not perform abortions past the first trimester, or 12 weeks.
